Habitat

This species is distributed in the quartz fields of the Knersvlakte, where it is usually found in very small populations, specifically in the Bitterfontein part.

Note
In Marais E. M. (1994), this species was erroneously confused with P. caroli-henrici B. Nordenstam, whereas these are in fact two different species.
